New Autumn event programme launched

There are four stimulating events planned for marketers in the agri, food and drink sector this Autumn, kicking off later this month on the 27 September with this year’s Excellence in Marketing Award winner Dom Dwight from Taylors of Harrogate Plus, we have a popular date for your 2018 diary!

 

Little Valley Brewery - launching EU beers for the undecided masses. Sheffield Hallam University, 4 October

Our CIM colleagues in the North have arranged for Iain Ross, Senior PR Account Manager, and Cameron Taylor, Copywriter, at Yorkshire-based ilk agency to present on their CIM Northern Awards winning B2C campaign for Little Valley Brewery  which has been making exceptional beer in Hebden Bridge since 2005. They approached ilk to develop a campaign to increase brand awareness and drive sales over the spring of 2016 and as an Anglo-Dutch brewery, the EU referendum hit close to home. This event will provide a fascinating insight into an integrated campaign during a small window of opportunity at Sheffield Hallam University on 4 October.

 

Honesty in the food and drink market - in a post truth world. Epsom, 8 November

Leatherhead Food Research is our host at this event on 8 November where, Emma Gubisch and Melissa Shone will argue for a closer connection with consumers and greater corporate honesty.

Using findings from Leatherhead's new international consumer research, they will consider how factors such as price, nutritional information, marketing and ethical positioning impact your brand profile. From sensory marketing, to co-creation possibilities, Emma and Melissa will also discuss guiding principles emerging from Leatherhead’s research to ensure products are a real match with consumer desires.


What is happening in UK food and drink in 2017?  London, 29 November

On 29 November 2017, we are delighted to welcome back, Fraser McKevitt, Head of Consumer Insight at KANTAR  Worldpanel, one of the leading market research houses in the world and used by nearly all the main food and drink companies and retailers in the UK. Fraser will give us, what has become something of an annual 'state of the nation' addresson the current key trends in the UK food and drink sector. More details are available on the web site.
