Chartered Marketer
If you are either a CIM Member (MCIM) or Fellow (FCIM) you can begin your journey to become a Chartered Marketer.
Chartered Marketer status recognises those marketers achieving the highest level in our profession. It demonstrates commitment to keeping up to date and is awarded on a combination of experience and qualifications. In 1998, The Queen's Privy Council granted us the authority to award Chartered Marketer status – the mark of an up-to-date, experienced and qualified marketing professional.
CPD Programme
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is about improving skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain current and effective as a marketing professional. It’s relevant throughout your career – whether you are new to marketing or an experienced professional wishing to keep abreast of the latest trends and techniques.

Qualifications
CIM is an Ofqual regulated qualifications provider and is accredited by the European Marketing Confederation. Our qualifications are delivered through an international network of accredited study centres, enabling you to learn in a way that suits your lifestyle – from bite-size flexible modules to full qualifications. Each module is based on our unique Professional Marketing Competencies designed to help marketers meet the increasing demands of them at every stage in their career.

CIM runs over 90 training courses for individuals over a wide breadth of marketing topics and in-company training for groups, teams and organisations to help you build your skills, capability and talent.
Mentoring
CIM's mentoring scheme is a flexible and open platform designed to match aspiring and developing professionals to the experience and knowledge of a mentor that suits them best.
