Ollie Deane added to Question Time Panel

Oliver Deane, Director of Commercial Digital at Global, has joined the line up of panellists to speak at Question Time. 

As Director of Commercial Digital at Global, Ollie is responsible for ad revenue and commercial operations for Global’s digital, mobile and social products across the company’s portfolio of brands including Capital, Heart, Classic FM, LBC, Radio X and PopBuzz.

He has been at Global for seven years and for the past four years Ollie has ran DAX, the most advanced programmatic audio platform in the world.  Global created DAX in the UK in 2014 to give advertisers a single point of entry to the digital audio market, it launched in France and Germany in 2017.

At the end of 2017, Global acquired US-based digital audio ad sales compay, AudioHQ and rebranded it to DAX. This gave Global ad ad sales and ad tech footprint in the US and now makes DAX the largest digital audio advertising platform in the world. DAX now reaches 160 million listeners and recently introduced a host of new product innovations including effectiveness tracking, audience targeting, 3D audio.

Ollie also leads sales and commercial operations for Global’s digital publishing business, which has enjoyed significant growth in the past 12 months and now delivers more than 330 million video streams a month. Global’s brands reach 1.2 billion news feeds a month and its newest media brand, PopBuzz, now reaches over four million unique users every month.
