L3 Foundation Certificate in marketing for the Construction Industry

This customised Foundation Certificate in Marketing is CIM’s first sector specific marketing programme for the construction industry. It was developed in conjunction with CIM’s Construction Industry Group to provide a solid foundation for junior marketers and others with a marketing support role.  This programme has been specially designed to equip these professionals with core marketing expertise combined with an understanding of the particular requirements of the complex and critical construction industry.

This new qualification is endorsed by the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF).

Sustained market growth requires talent

After a sharp drop triggered by the economic downturn in 2007-8, the value of new construction projects has grown steadily to 2016, according to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics. ONS reports that “the 5.5% growth in 2016 is the fifth consecutive year of at least 5% growth, subsequently leading to a rise in the value of new orders to its highest level since 2007 at £66,126 million.” Private housing developments have been a significant contributor to this growth.
