SME Action Plan

Author: Dawn Southgate

The SME Action Plan, announced by small business minister Kelly Tolhurst this month, will provide more opportunities for small businesses to bid for and win government contracts which will help level the playing field. The Government aims for £1 out of every £3 it spends to be with small businesses by 2022. This will mean that the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy will spend an additional £35m with SMEs by the target date.
