New Barbour ABI Top 50s

Barbour ABI have released their latest Top 50 tables for Contractors, Architects and Clients for the month of August, as well as the last 12 months.
The tables are compiled using a mix of survey data from some of the UK’s largest contractors, as well as data from Barbour ABI’s database of contracts, awarded in that month or 12-month period. All tables include contracts worth £100k or more, as well as tendered and negotiated contracts, but exclude frameworks and masterplans. Included is also a summary section outlining the biggest changes in rankings from all of the tables.
The clients and architects tables are based on contract data, and ranked by projects worked on which a contractor has been appointed in that month or 12-month period.
Highlights from this month’s Top 50 Tables include:
- Costain Group PLC appointed for two major road schemes at a combined value of £575 million
- UMC Architects are the top architects for August, with two awards totaling £162 million
- Highways England had a busy month with five awards totaling over £666 million
